What are Anti-Wrinkle injections? Anti-wrinkle injections, use botulinum toxin to temporarily reduce or stop movement in certain muscles of the face to prevent and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

How does is work? Botulinum toxin is injected into the muscle, forming a barrier between the nerve endings and the muscle fibre. This stops the signals reaching the muscle which cause them to contract, moving the face and creating wrinkles. The skin appears smooth and wrinkle free until movement reoccurs around 4 months after treatment.
